With Easter fast approaching here is a really quick decoration idea that is fun and also doesn’t involve boiling water or messy dyes. They are Faberge Inspired Eggs made from Styrofoam eggs, glitter paper and corsage pins.
Being a dollar store shopper who’s always looking for a bargain I found these Styrofoam eggs on skewer type sticks which I thought would be cute to add to my planters and things for Easter.
The eggs themselves needed a little added pizzazz so with my handy dandy cricket I cut out different shapes from sheets of glitter paper and used corsage pins to stick them to the egg. The results are wonderful and very reminiscent of Faberge style eggs. They are easy to make and if you have kids who are crafty they make a nice family project, we do a lot of crafts at our house and this is one we will do again. Did I mention they add a touch of elegance to your décor?
Mini-Pin Easter Eggs. Beuatiful!
