Ombre Painted Wooden Spoons

I was born with an extra large mouth. Our family tradition has been for me to use wooden spoons. I remember wonderful childhood days in the barn, carving them out of old spruce logs with a hacksaw and a knife. But oh, the splinters! I cannot count the number of times I cut my hand!
