Remove Water Marks On Wood Furniture With A Hair Dryer

I love life hacks. For a homemaker, there’s always a new mess to clean up, and I’m not only speaking of the dis-function of the psyche that occurs after the twelfth time your toddler spills his juice while climbing the back of the couch or the teenager forgets – again – that your eighties throw-back compact discs are not acceptable coasters.

I’m talking about things like water marks on wood. They are legion. After using them in a home-school lesson on radius, circumference and the proper use of the markings on a protractor, I tried this life hack.

First, the required equipment quit after ten minutes of water mark removal. This is what happens when you buy substandard beauty equipment. However, this did provide an excuse for buying a higher end model. The moral of that story is, when looking for quality multipurpose bathroom gear, stay out of the dollar stores.

New and most necessary gear in hand, I turned back to water mark removal.

The results changed my world.

I am now off to buy math paper. The kids need a place to make new circles now that they’ve figured out the protractor and I’ve found a new life hack.
