How To Freshen Your Towels And Get Rid Of That Mildew Stink

Mornings are tough. Many people need an incentive to wake up. But the worst way to start your day is by grabbing a damp towel off the rack and pew-yew!

If those towels spent a day wet in the washer before they hit the dryer, that smell is mildew.

What to do? Never fear, white vinegar is here to work its magic. The cure is just one cup of vinegar added to your load of towels in the washing machine on the hot setting. There is no need to use soap and never use bleach.

After the wash cycle is complete, throw the towels into the dryer with a dryer sheet. Voila, the problem is solved. Your towels are back in action.

Have other smelly clothes? Vinegar can be used to freshen up damp gym stuff and bathing suits as well.
