While cleaning out my linen cabinet I found an ancient afghan made for me by an elderly friend. Holding that blanket brought me back to when she tried teaching me to crochet. I became really good at chain making. That’s it, just chains. The house was littered with yards of yarn in single crochet chains. Every time I’d try to combine them into pretty flowers or useful blankets, or really anything, it would merely become a yarn ball destined for my cat. The nostalgia that blanket evoked naturally drove me to the internet to search out how to rekindle my less-than-stellar crochet skills, and what do I find? Daisies made of crochet chain! This just might work…
